I am out of the hospital. Surgery went well. I am full of thanks. It is a rather amazing process - surgery and getting out of the hospital this fast. Friends came from Dallas and Texarkana to support and love us.

Now the recovery begins - first with the drive back to Dallas tomorrow.

Then time healing. It will take a while, and I look forward to the progress. It's different - I was so strong, and now life starts over with a certain helplessness and waiting - all towards regaining strength.
